Meet Sage!

Sage is an incredibly easygoing and sweet dog, making her a low-maintenance companion. She’s mellow yet playful, with a love for running. She loves to run in the fenced backyard field and to go for short leash walks. While Sage probably isn’t a fan of swimming, she exhibits excellent behavior in the car. We suspect she lived in a car with her previous owner, as she’s very comfortable there, usually sitting in the back. On walks, Sage tends to pull on the leash, as she’s quite a big girl. When she sees other dogs during walks, she gets very excited. Fortunately, she doesn’t jump over or dig under fences. Her play style includes jumping, running around, bouncing & bowing. Sage is housebroken, with minimal accidents indoors. She goes out several times a day and has her own way of signaling when she needs to go out. She hasn’t chewed or destroyed anything, and when left alone, she roams freely around the house without getting upset. Sage barks in specific situations, but she doesn’t exhibit fearful behavior. When someone comes to the house, Sage’s reaction is friendly, and she behaves similarly when approached outside. Her reactions are consistent regardless of who approaches her, whether it’s a uniformed person, delivery person, or stranger. If she lives with other animals, her relationships are harmonious, and she’s comfortable around kids. For Sage’s new family, the top priorities would be having other dogs in the house, a family that works from home, and allowing her to sleep on the bed.
