Meet Bob đ¤đž
Bob is a lazy house cat⌠who just happens to be a dog.
This sweet, squishy boy has perfected the art of relaxation. His hobbies include sleeping, cuddling, thinking about snacks, and then sleeping again. If youâre looking for a hiking buddyâkeep scrolling. If youâre looking for a professional nap partner who takes his job very seriously⌠Bob is your guy.
Bob is the definition of mellow. He enjoys a nice, leisurely âstrollâ (heavy on the leisurely) around the neighborhood, followed by an immediate return to bed to recover from all that excitement. He moves just slightly faster than a snail⌠but only when absolutely necessary. When he does play fetch, thatâs the only time his foster mom ever sees him move faster than a snailâand even then, itâs a short-lived burst of enthusiasm before he retires with his prize after 4â5 throws. I mean, who likes cardio?
Athleticism is not Bobâs brand. In fact, his foster says she would need video evidence to believe Bob could jump over anything. A rabbit once ran by him, and while he briefly considered chasing it, he quickly decided that sounded like way too much work and returned to his regularly scheduled walking pace.
In the car, Bob rides like the distinguished gentleman he isâcalmly lounging in the backseat, occasionally sitting up to take in the sights like royalty surveying his kingdom (though heâs not about to jump up to stick his head out the window⌠again, effort). At home, he is the easiest companion you could ask for. When left alone, he simply heads upstairs and tucks himself into bed within minutes. Efficiency at its finest.
Bob is incredibly affectionate and loves his people deeply. Socially, Bob is a low-key charmer. He greets people politely, accepts his pets, and then returns to his regularly scheduled lounging. That said, he can turn it on when he wantsâlike when he recently spent a full 4 hours working an Easter crowd, happily soaking up love and attention from everyone he met⌠followed, of course, by an elite, well-deserved nap.
He has a funny little raspy bark that he uses sparinglyâusually to express mild outrage at bicycles, motorcycles, or slow dinner service.
Bob is still working on a potty routine and doesnât quite understand the concept of personal space (Velcro is an understatement), but heâs already making great progress and just needs a consistent, loving home to keep him on track.
At the end of the day, Bob is simple:
He wants food.
He wants cuddles.
He wants a soft place to sleep (preferably on you).
And honestly? Same.
If youâre looking for the easiest, snuggliest, most low-maintenance best friend who will happily match your energy (especially if your energy is âstay home and relaxâ), Bob is ready to be your perfect little shadow. đ
