Meet Mabel

Mabel has a calm, quiet confidence. She’s an easygoing, gentle soul who takes everything in stride and brings a peaceful presence wherever she goes. While she may be a little more reserved than her sister Ava at first, it doesn’t take long to see just how loving and special she truly is.

Mabel is wonderfully mellow and observant—she likes to take in her surroundings before jumping in, but once she’s comfortable, she is incredibly affectionate. She loves to cuddle just as much as she loves to quietly hang by your side, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet, steady best friend.

Like Ava, Mabel is still getting used to the outside world after never experiencing it before rescue. She’s already starting to feel more comfortable exploring and is showing just how brave she can be. She also runs to the door at the sound of a bell ringing. With continued love and encouragement, her confidence will only keep growing.

Although she can be more shy, she also adores other dogs and enjoys their company, and like her sister, she’s a total cuddle bug—whether it’s with humans or furry friends.
