Cortland is an incredibly sweet, outgoing, and snuggly puppy who is sure to steal your heart! She’s a happy, friendly girl who loves to cuddle and be close to her people. When she’s awake, Cortland is full of energy and loves to run and do zoomies in the yard. She hasn’t had much experience walking on a leash yet, but she’s curious and eager to learn. She’s also still working on her house training, but with treats and positive reinforcement, she’s making progress every day.

Cortland is crate-trained and does well when left alone for short periods. She’s a quiet pup who rarely barks, except when she’s trying to play with the fosters cat. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and greets people with excitement and enthusiasm. While she hasn’t been around children up close yet, she seems curious and excited when she sees them.

Her favorite toys include an orange squeaky toy and teething bones, and she loves playing with her humans—jumping, bouncing, and running around with pure puppy joy.

Cortland would thrive in a home where she can cuddle on the couch, sleep in bed with her family, and spend lots of time with her people. She’s the perfect companion for someone who’s home often and ready to shower her with love and attention.
