Introducing Giuseppe again (formally known as Screech)— a sweet little guy who has returned to the rescue after his first placement wasn’t the right fit. He’s now hoping for a calm, loving forever home where he can feel safe, settled, and adored.

He is a French bulldog mix who may also have a little English bulldog in his family tree. He’s a sensitive, affectionate boy who is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place.

He loves toys, balls, and treats, and while he’s okay with other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in the home, so he doesn’t have to share his favorite things. He’s comfortable with people taking away toys or treats and tends to win hearts quickly with his sweet nature.

Giuseppe is a champion sleeper and snoozes through the night like a pro. He’s a low-key pup who enjoys a cozy couch, a sunny spot, and a few tasty treats. When he does get a burst of energy, a bone or food puzzle toy is a great way to keep him entertained.

He is often startled by machines or cleaning products, so a calm and safe space is best when those are in use. He’s also a bit adventurous and has no fear when it comes to couches or stairs, so ramps or soft pet stairs are recommended to help keep him safe.

Giuseppe is vocal when he wants attention or feels left out, so he may do best in a calmer home. His ideal home would be peaceful, predictable, and full of love — plus plenty of treats, because treats are truly the way to his heart.

He has done well with the kids he’s met, though he may be a little too interested in their toys, so a childfree home would be the best match for him.
